Now many of you might not realize what this is, but if you have ever had an iPod or an iPhone, you probably are more familiar with it than you think. I liken it to an iPod that instead having a screen or a headphone jack, connects to your tv and/or stereo system wirelessly syncing all of your music, pictures, movies, etc. to your tv. Have a look at it via this link, and feel free to stop in the office to check it out. It is a lot of fun and a tiny box that is filled with many surprises. I wanted to highlight it here as it a great piece of technology not many people know about. You can even control it with your iPhone!

If you've visited our office within the last few months, you probably saw Indiana Jones or Lord of the Rings playing on the TV. If not, you probably saw album covers floating across the screen and wondered what they were doing there. That's our AppleTV. It's basically an iPod that runs with a TV and remote.
We went to the TV shows menu to play Charlie Brown's Valentine Special around heart-day. We play Cars from the Movies menu when kids stop by. We research Tech Podcasts. We have fun putting an artist’s entire music catalogue on Shuffle and seeing what pops up, or seeing what kind of playlists the “Genius” function creates. We’ve also been known to search for YouTube videos right within the AppleTV (only at lunch-time, of course...).
Some of the functions we don’t seem to have time for at the office that are equally as neat are accessing the whole iTunes store for new music, movies, and TV episodes, as well as viewing photo slideshows, screensavers, and even Flickr accounts.
